Summary:

The Private Client Services Consultant is a new Producer or a Producer that does not have a book of business. In the role, the Consultant actively solicits and sells insurance products and services to existing and new clients; may maintain an existing book of business; expands a book and enhances the image of The Plexus Groupe. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify prospects using sales tools to identify and cold contact potential clients 
  • Utilize sales tools to identify cross sell opportunities
  • Follow up on leads
  • Enter all contacts and data into the CRM system
  • Participate in activities that maintain and expand the book of business
  • Maintain and expand carrier relationships
  • Stay current with industry, licensing and education requirements

Required Experience:

  • At least 1+ year of related experience or training
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred 
  • Must hold an active Property & Casualty License. If a candidate is not licensed at the time of hire, it is expected for this process to be completed within the first 60 days
  • A thorough understanding of insurance underwriting and coverages, including rating procedures
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Be competitive, persistent and self-reliant, with a sales drive
  • Good interpersonal skills and high ethical standards
